About Lindsey Sharp
After working in both the pediatric and adult emergency department setting, she returned to school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to obtain her Masters of Science – Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Lindsey is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In 2020, Lindsey added her Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) certification in order to provide medical treatment for opioid use disorder, alcoholism, methamphetamine / cocaine abuse, benzodiazepine abuse and other associated mental health disorders.
For the last several years, Lindsey has worked as a certified Nurse Practitioner in the emergency department and inpatient alcohol and drug rehabilitation setting at Freedom House. Through her time in the emergency department, she has seen the impact that addiction and drug abuse can have on patients, their families and the community. Growing up in Pope County, she believes it is important to be able to provide the opportunity for patients to receive addiction treatment in the River Valley. She hopes to be able to make a positive impact on her patient’s lives and to help them live a healthier lifestyle.
Lindsey has made her home in the River Valley with her husband, two children and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loves to cheer on the Arkansas Razorbacks! Her favorite days are spent together fishing, baking and having movie nights.
